抗细菌反应PCR芯片可用于研究参与真菌先天免疫反应的84个关键基因的表达。三个不同家族的模式识别受体(TLRs,NLRS,RIG-I样受体)启动先天免疫,从而识别常见病原体如真菌等。在真菌感染的初始阶段,TLR、NLR和其他PRRs可以识别真菌病原体的特征分子,如ß-(1,3)-葡聚糖、甘露聚糖、几丁质。PAMP受体结合并激活先天免疫反应,启动下游信号,并诱导炎性细胞因子的表达。对真菌相关的PRRs下游信号通路的了解还不全面,但最近的芯片研究发现了许多真菌感染初始阶段的基因。这一芯片包含了参与真菌病原体识别的PRRS,代表其下游的信号转导通路的基因,以及对白色念珠菌、曲霉菌或隐球菌感染反应有关的基因。通过实时定量PCR的方法,研究者即能够利用该芯片简单可靠地同时检测抗真菌反应相关基因的表达,研究对真菌病原体的先天免疫的机制。
